In observance of the holidays, La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) offices in Durango and Pagosa Springs will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 26 and 27, and Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. The drop-slots for bill payments will remain open.
LPEA dispatch and line crews will also be on-call throughout the holidays to handle any unexpected electrical outages. Member-consumers are reminded to call 970.247.5786 in the event of an extended outage.
Additionally, beginning Wed., Jan. 25, 2012, and every fourth Wednesday of subsequent months, front offices in both Durango and Pagosa Springs will delay opening by one hour for special departmental meetings. Each fourth Wednesday of every month, LPEA front office hours will be 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
