La Plata Electric Association, Inc.’s (LPEA) mission is to provide our member-owners with safe, reliable electricity at the lowest reasonable cost while being environmentally responsible, even during severe weather conditions. We maintain more than 3,700 miles of electric distribution line in La Plata and Archuleta, with segments of Hinsdale, Mineral and San Juan counties. LPEA also serves a portion of Rio Arriba, New Mexico. Power outages can occur in our service area for various reasons.
The LPEA Outage Viewer Map located below displays the current outages in our service area. The black and grey area represents our service area, and the colored squares and polygons represent current power outages. LPEA is working to resolve all power outages as quickly and effectively as possible.
