So far this month we have been able to visit with many of our members face-to-face through a blood drive, held at the Durango office, and at our booth at the La Plata County Fair. It is great to be back out in our community. 

Summer Blood Drive

An estimated 36,000 units of blood are needed every day in the United States and one donation can save three lives. We were pleased to have 24 participants, donating 28 units of blood during our August blood drive.

La Plata County Fair

The La Plata County Fair is always a great way for us to engage with our community and we were able to make a triumphant comeback after taking a year off due to the global pandemic. We chatted with members and gave out prizes to anyone who wanted to spin our wheel. Thank you to all who stopped by to say "hi"!
