Sunnyside Community Solar Program

The Sunnyside Community Solar Program allows LPEA members to subscribe to locally generated solar energy without installing panels on their homes. Members can access clean energy from a shared solar array and receive credits on their electric bills. The program has two parts: one for income-qualified members and another open to all residential and commercial LPEA members. Participating members contribute to community environmental goals while getting hassle-free access to sustainable energy.

If you are currently a participating member in Sunnyside Community Solar, you can find subscriber-specific information and answers to your billing questions here.

We expect to be able to offer subscriptions to several members on the Income Qualified and General Membership waitlists each year as other subscribers drop off the program or move out of the service territory. We will contact members on the waitlist in March to offer any subscription capacity available in the programs on a first-come-first served basis based on waitlist position. If you are interested in a Sunnyside Community Solar subscription, we encourage you to complete the interest form today!

If you have any questions or need help submitting the form, please email us at communitysolar@lpea.coop or call us at  970-247-5786.
