Funding for local non-profit organizations
LPEA’s inaugural Round Up Foundation Board was formed in 1996, and by 1997, the foundation had issued its first grant - $1,000 to the Manna Soup Kitchen. Since then the foundation has endured as a win-win enterprise. Individually, the contributions may be very small, but, as indicated in the donation list below, those pennies add up. Our members' pennies, combined with those from your neighbors, have generated more than one million dollars in funds for local agencies in La Plata and Archuleta counties.
There is not a cap on the amount an applicant can request; however, the LPEA Round Up Foundation Board has limited funds to disburse each month. Often requests cannot be granted in full. Grant awards typically range from $500 to $3,000.
If you are with a non-profit organization and would like to apply for funding from the Round Up Foundation, please fill out the application below. Save the file to your computer prior to adding your information. If you add data while it is open in a browser, it may not be saved.
