Dan Harms is a professional engineer and the Vice President of Grid Solutions, where he manages power system planning and engineering, Distributed Energy Resource management and program development, power supply, rate design, emerging technologies, and operational technologies such as Advance Metering Infrastructure, fiber, and microwave communications. Dan has been part of the LPEA team since 1990 when he first started as an engineering intern. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in electrical engineering, Dan joined the LPEA engineering team where he gained 20 years of experience before taking on a management role.
When Dan needs a break from the office, he enjoys being in the outdoors mountain biking, skiing, hiking, or river rafting.
