Deadline to submit 2025 rebate applications is February 16, 2026.

Using timers to control major electric equipment such as heating/cooling, major lighting loads, water heaters etc. can help you save on your electric bill by avoiding peak times. We're offering rebates on eligible timers to help our members save!  

Devices May Include: 

  • Digital timers or analog timers 
  • Programmable thermostats 
  • Smart thermostats or 
  • Other load-control devices  

Eligibility and Application Details

  • A minimum of 350 watts must be controlled by the device in order to qualify. 
  • Limit two smart thermostat rebates per member account, with the exception of line voltage (e.g. 120V/240V) smart thermostats, which are limited to five per member account. 
  • Timers and thermostats for natural gas and propane heating (even with an electric blower) do not qualify. 

2026 Income Qualification Limits

We know the cost of living is pretty high around here, so we're offering added savings for our income-qualified members who earn up to 150% of the area median income (AMI).

Rebate income limits
To be eligible for an income-qualified rebate, you must register through the Colorado Energy Office and receive a confirmation email from them verifying your income status.

  • Complete the form below. You will need to upload: 
    • Copies or photos of the receipts for all purchases. 
    • Submit applications within 90 days of completed installation or certificate of occupancy (new construction). 
    • Applications typically take 8-10 weeks to process and are remitted as a bill credit.
  • If you are applying for an income-qualified rebate, you must register through the Colorado Energy Office and receive a confirmation email from them verifying your income status.

    While not required, LPEA members are encouraged to schedule these devices to avoid operating during LPEA peak hours to take advantage of potential savings.
