Eligible Applicants:
- Homeowner associations (HOAs)
- Multifamily property owners (4+ units)
- Authorized property managers
- Properties must be within LPEA service territory
- LPEA members must be in good standing
Excludes:
- Single-famiy residences (see Residential EV Charger Rebates)
- Hotels
- Commercial Properties (see Commercial Charging Rebates)
- Projects receiving rebates from other overlapping LPEA programs (LPEA discretion)
Property and Program Requirements:
- Properties must have the following to participate:
- Adequate electrical capacity (or willingness to upgrade)
- Dedicated parking spaces for EV charging
- Compliance with local permitting, electrical code, and HOA rules
- Participating properties must:
- Install chargers or smart outlets capable of avoiding on-peak charging
- Provide monthly usage reports for two years or grant LPEA data-access permissions
- Participate in demand response events, when available
- Adapt charging schedules if LPEA peak periods or grid needs change
- Use a licensed electrician to obtain all required permits and inspections

- Include a brief description of the project, location, and contact information.
- Rebates are issued after installation, inspection, and final approval.
- Rebate processing typically takes 8–10 weeks.
- Members are responsible for trenching, concrete work, and major electrical upgrades.
