Deadline to submit 2025 rebate applications is February 16, 2026.

We're offering our members rebates on timers that control roof heat or cable. Members can make the most of these devices by scheduling them to avoid operating during LPEA peak hours.

  • Submit applications within 90 days of completed installation or certificate of occupancy (new construction). 

  • 2026 Income Qualification Limits

    We know the cost of living is pretty high around here, so we're offering added savings for our income-qualified members who earn up to 150% of the area median income (AMI).

    Rebate income limits

  • To be eligible for an income-qualified rebate, please register through the Colorado Energy Office and receive a confirmation email from them verifying your income status.

  • Complete the form below.
  • You will need to upload: 
    • Copies or photos of the receipts for all purchases. 
    • IRS W-9 form completed by the member/rebate recipient. A W-9 is kept on file by LPEA as proof of the allocation of funds. Any tax liability is the responsibility of the rebate recipient. View W-9 Guide here.
           - Name on W-9 must match name on rebate check.

  • If you are applying for an income-qualified rebate, you must register through the Colorado Energy Office and receive a confirmation email from them verifying your income status. 

    Please either attach an image of that email with your application or forward the confirmation email to rebates@LPEA.coop

*Programmable timers have the ability to run a schedule with on/off events throughout the day for multiple days. 
**Smart controls are Wi-Fi connected with the ability to schedule and remotely control the system. These may have additional features such as weather monitoring or learning modes.
