On July 17th, 2019, the LPEA Board of Directors approved the creation of the Policy Committee. The Committee is responsible for (b) receiving input from Cooperative staff regarding suggested policy changes and concerns and (c) recommending draft policy changes and new policies for consideration by the Board of Directors.

Each year, LPEA’s electrical infrastructure faces damage from hunters using our equipment as targets while sighting their scopes. This vandalism results in costly repairs that ultimately impact our co-op members. More importantly, it’s incredibly dangerous. When LPEA equipment is struck by a bullet, it can break, leading to power outages or, in some cases, sparking wildfires.

Thank you for making our first-ever CommunityPowerX event such a success! It was truly inspiring to see such an impressive turnout.
How fun to take over The Gaslight and fill two theaters with our curious and engaged members. We loved hearing all of the conversations shared between sessions and the insights offered at our interactive feedback station.
