Focus: Wildfire Mitigation
At LPEA, our commitment goes beyond powering homes and businesses—we are dedicated to protecting the communities we serve. Beginning in 2026, LPEA is focusing its entire sponsorship program on wildfire mitigation, addressing one of the greatest threats to public safety, electric reliability, and the landscapes our region depends on.
This program is intended for nonprofit partners whose work directly supports wildfire prevention, emergency response readiness, and community resilience. Because this is a focused initiative, a limited number of sponsorships are available.
LPEA’s Sponsorship Focus Includes:
- Reducing wildfire risk near homes, electric infrastructure, and critical corridors
- Strengthening emergency response through first-responder preparedness and protection
- Protecting forests and watersheds through proactive, prevention-based efforts
Interested in 2027?
Although 2026 sponsorship funding has been fully allocated, we welcome organizations whose work aligns with LPEA's wildfire mitigation priorities to submit an application for future consideration.
Submitting an application allows our team to learn more about your organization and helps us plan for future sponsorship opportunities. Applications will be reviewed as we begin planning the 2027 sponsorship program.
Looking for General Community Funding?
Over the past several years, LPEA’s sponsorships supported STEM education, youth development, and community events. These initiatives—and many nonprofit partners—will continue to be supported through the Round Up Foundation.
