LPEA Lineworker Scholarship

LPEA will award two, one-year scholarships to two students attending an accredited institution, including a vocational school, technical school, community college, or university in the U.S. majoring in an electrical lineworker program.

This one-year scholarship ($12,000) covers tuition, books, fees, and supplies given the students maintain minimum qualifications. Any scholarship overage, following payment of tuition and fees, can be applied to the purchase of tools and supplies required in the trade.

We are no longer accepting scholarship applications. Check back in December 2022 for more information on the 2023 scholarship application process.

The application deadline is Wednesday, March 1, 2023. 

·        500 Word Essay describing your college education goals and how these goals relate to a career at a rural electric cooperative association

·        High school transcript (or equivalent) 

·        Honors and/or extracurricular activities list

·        Two letters of reference
