As your local electric cooperative, serving our community is at the heart of all we do here at LPEA. That’s why we’d like to take a moment to recognize our veteran employees who have not only served our country through their time in the military but are now dedicated to bringing safe reliable electricity to our local region.
A heartfelt thank you to these dedicated LPEA team members:
Toby Allred, Line Manager
James Brown, Electric Technician
Carolyn Foster, Staking Engineer
Gester Garcia, Right of Way Agent
Les Hahn, Relief Dispatcher
Dan Normand, Construction Project Manager
Alex Preszler, Dispatcher
Shea Rivers, Apprentice Staking Engineer
Nate Rodriguez, Apprentice Lineman
“It takes more than just me for a project to be successful. It’s leading a team and getting them to contribute their knowledge and experience too,” said Construction Project Manager Dan Normand, explaining how the strong emphasis on teamwork from his time in the military has come to be crucial in his current role at LPEA.
These individuals bring a wealth of skills and experience that benefit our co-op community every day, and their disciplined work ethic, teamwork, and leadership are invaluable assets that help us power our service territory.
“LPEA, for me personally, has been one of the most supportive environments I have ever found myself in. Not just as a military veteran, but simply as an individual,” said Apprentice Staking Engineer, Shea Rivers. “I have always felt that I can be myself here and that I have the support and respect of my coworkers.”
It is our honor to recognize these team members and to continue supporting the brave men and women who defend our nation. This Veteran's Day, and every day, we express our deepest gratitude for their service.
