1. Login to LPEA’s SmartHub app to report outages, manage your account, check your usage, and pay your bill anytime, anywhere. Call us at (970) 247-5786 if you need help. 

2. Get outage alerts and updates on your phone by signing up for LPEA’s Outage Texting Service. Text “TEXTLPEA” to (970) 247-5786 from the phone registered on your account. Register your phone on SmartHub or by calling us.

3. Bookmark LPEA’s outage viewer map, which provides up-to-the minute details on LPEA outages.

4. Try these 5 five quick ways to weatherize your home and get the most out of your electricity:

  • Install door and window weatherproofing and door sweeps.

  • Seal any gaps and cracks with caulk and foam.

  • If your water heater is in a cold place, cover it with a specialized water heater blanket.

  • Insulate your attic door.

  • If you have older windows, install plastic window seals.

5. Prepare an emergency kit for your home, including the following items:

  • Non-perishable food and water for each member of your household for 3-5 days

  • Hand-operated can opener, wet wipes and hand sanitizer

  • Back-up plugs and chargers for your electronic devices (solar, car, battery, or crank)

  • Battery-operated radio flashlights and lanterns with new batteries

  • Carbon monoxide detector

  • Fire extinguisher

  • First-aid kit and prescription/OTC meds
