9:00 AM: Our crews continue making progress across the system today as access improves and repairs move forward.

• Junction Creek: Two washed-out poles are being replaced. This work will restore power to all homes that can safely be energized at this time. Some locations will require additional repairs before service can be restored.

• Durango Regency: Crews are working to access and replace a damaged transformer, which could restore power to six members.

• Highway 151: Pole and line replacements are underway with the goal of restoring service to approximately 70 members.

• San Juan River Village: Crews have gained access and are assessing damage. We are hopeful that portions of the subdivision can be re-energized soon.

• River Center: Repairs are being made to junction boxes, with restoration efforts focused on returning power to 29 members.

• South Highway 84: One pole still needs to be replaced. Crews will attempt access with specialized equipment later today or tomorrow, depending on conditions.

10:00 AM: LPEA crews continue working to restore power in areas impacted by flooding and severe weather. Here's the latest on restoration efforts:

• Junction Creek: Crews are working to make repairs and restore service to remaining homes that are still accessible and intact.

• Piedra Area: Crews are constructing a temporary line around the damaged bridge area to restore power to portions of the community as safely and quickly as possible.

• Several locations, including Destination Ranch, Durango Regency, and parts of the Pagosa area, remain difficult or impossible to access due to flood damage, mud, and unsafe conditions. Restoration efforts will continue as soon as crews can safely reach these locations.

• Important Water Safety Notice: Local officials have issued a boil water advisory for areas affected by major flooding. If you are in or near a flooded area, please boil water before drinking or cooking, or use bottled water until further notice.

6:00 PM - As of this evening, crews have been able to restore power to all but 487 meters. We'll resume updates in the morning, unless there is anything significant to report tonight.

Wishing everyone a safe evening.

10:00 AM Current restoration efforts include:

- Junction Creek/Turtle Lake - Crews are in the County Road 204/205 area attempting to reenergize the homes they are able to access. They are still waiting for water to recede to be able to assess damage, make repairs and restore all meters in the area.

- CR 202: A tree fell through the line at 5:30 this morning. Crews are working to make repairs and reenergize the 40 members affected.

- North of Vallecito: We were able to restore power for all but 4 members last night. Crews are working this morning on replacing broken poles to reenergize the remaining 4 members.

- Destination Ranch: Road damage has prevented us from accessing this area. We will assess the situation and work on restoration as soon as the road is repaired.

- Hermosa Creek: Diversions have created new flooding and pre-evacuation notices for the area. We will continue to monitor and will restore power when we're safely able to do so.

- Archuleta County crews are continuing to access and make repairs as they are able to.

Stay tuned for further updates! Thank you.

8:30 AM: Crews have been able to restore all but 658 meters as of this morning and will continue to work on restoring the remaining meters as conditions and accessibility allow. We thank you all for the support, encouragement and patience. It has been incredible to see how our community members have shown up for one another.

We'll continue to supply updates here as they are available.

3:00 PM: We are down to 1,059 meters out of power. The access issues persist, and for now we are continuing to coordinate with local emergency management officials to assess infrastructure damage.

10:45 AM: Our crews are working hard to restore power across the service territory following the recent storm impacts. Access to several outage locations continues to be one of the biggest challenges, as high water, downed trees, and road conditions are slowing restoration efforts. Current conditions include:

• Junction Creek: Crews have assessed the area, but repairs are delayed until water levels subside enough for safe access.

• Vallecito: The area remains inaccessible at this time.

• PV 111 and Lightner Creek: Crews are on site clearing trees and rebuilding lines.

• Pagosa Springs area: Crews are actively assessing damage and determining the safest way to reach affected locations.

We know outages are frustrating, and we appreciate your patience as crews work through difficult conditions to safely restore service. Restoration times may vary depending on access and the extent of damage at each location. Thank you to our lineworkers and field crews who are out in challenging conditions, and thank you to our members for your continued support. We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.

7:30 AM:At this point, we have 1,893 meters out across our service area. All outages are related to the severe storms and flooding and will require road access before we can make repairs.

At this time, all county roads in La Plata County are closed, among several major highway closures across our entire service area. Crews are out making repairs in accessible areas and will continue to do so until all meters are restored.

Due to the road closures, our Durango and Pagosa Springs physical offices will remain closed, but our staff is working remotely and is available by phone and chat.

Thank you to all who are working tirelessly to keep our community safe through the inclement weather.
