
La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) is launching its final Member Satisfaction Study in a 10-year survey cycle, conducted in partnership with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Beginning the week of September 15, 2025, randomly selected residential members across LPEA’s service territory will be invited to share their feedback by phone or email. This survey helps LPEA measure member satisfaction, assess service quality, and guide the development of future programs.
Who: La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) residential members.
What: LPEA is conducting its final Member Satisfaction Study in a 10-year survey cycle, in partnership with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). The survey gauges member satisfaction, perceptions of service, and interest in future programs.
When: Starting the week of September 15, 2025, and continuing until enough responses are gathered.
Where: Across LPEA’s service territory in Southwest Colorado.
Why: To assess how well LPEA is serving its members and to compare performance against other cooperatives nationwide. Feedback helps guide improvements and shape the development of new programs and services.
How: Surveys will be conducted by NRECA Market Research Services using a combination of email and phone outreach. A representative selection of members across all four districts will be randomly chosen to participate.
