This year, we're celebrating the 30th anniversary of our Round Up Foundation!
As the CEO of LPEA, Chris also serves on the Round Up Board of Directors, and he's excited to get to be a part of recognizing this amazing milestone for the Foundation.
"It's members like you, almost 17,000 of you, that have contributed more than two and a half million dollars to worthy nonprofits in our area."
So, what is Roundup?
It's essentially community-powered giving. Round Up is an easy, voluntary way for our members to give directly to important causes by simply rounding up their electricity bill to the next dollar (or more, with Round Up Plus) each month.
The Roundup Foundation is a completely separate nonprofit organization that's run by a volunteer Board with people like Chris and others from our community. The Board reviews applications and makes sure the funds flow to the most deserving projects in our service territory.
How we're celebrating this milestone
To honor these three decades of this vital work, we're launching our $30 for 30 Years of Powerful Change campaign.
This year, in addition to your normal monthly Round Up donations, please consider a special one-time donation of $30 to help celebrate this milestone.

Asking for money is not all we're going to do this year. We're also going to celebrate the amazing stories from the past 30 years of work and feature some of our incredible recipients. So be on the lookout for more videos soon. We're going to start all the way back in 1996 with one of our first recipients, Manna Soup Kitchen.
We want to thank our members for being a part of this important community-led program and look forward to celebrating 30 years of LPEA's Roundup Foundation with you!
