LPEA is closely monitoring rising water levels that are creating safety concerns for some of our electric infrastructure. 

If these conditions worsen, it may become necessary to temporarily shut off power in the affected area to protect your safety and the safety of our crews. These power shutoffs are possible depending on how flooding conditions develop.

What You Can Do

• Stay alert to local emergency management updates.

• Be prepared to relocate if evacuation or safety notices are issued.

• Sign up for text or email alerts and monitor our website and social media for the latest updates.

We will restore power as soon as it is safe to do so and will continue to provide updates as conditions change.
